I was in Rwanda! (Vlog)

And here is the video to prove it! 🙂

  1. Dear Siyanda,

We have never met. I enjoyed your TED talk. NOT being a writer, (choosing plot points over eloquence) I was curious, at 75, to find out how today’s youth would defend the human race. In The Council, animals decide to communicate with five young people, explaining that the outcome of our species depends on them presenting their ideas for committed future action to the International Court in the Hague. It is not crimes against humanity at issue, but humanity doing the harm.

For the first time in United States history, judges are now appointing attorneys to represent animals. Perhaps a young adult story about an orangutan and a chimpanzee filing a legal action against the human race for depraved indifference isn’t so far fetched after all.

Emails received from youngsters in Namibia, India, Australia, Denmark, the Czech Republic and the United States are heartening, each young person committed to making the necessary changes.

The Council’s young adult characters believe the future lies in an inter species internet.

Sent with the wish that, should you ever have the time, you will enjoy the story. No acknowledgment is necessary.
